Maintain uses a flow-and-strength dosing method, revision 2026-07-16. The review considers average flow, influent organic strength and treatment duration. Pail count alone cannot describe an appropriate maintenance programme.

Can Maintain replace a sinking solid?
The formats serve different delivery needs. Maintain disperses through water; a sinking solid targets the sludge interface. Start with where the organic material is accumulating.
What is inside one purchased pail?
A 25 lb pail containing 25 × 1 lb water-soluble pouches. The number needed for a treatment programme depends on the documented dosing method and lagoon data.
What if the water gets colder?
Record the actual water temperature and discuss the treatment plan. Below the standard application threshold, Polar may be the more suitable water-column format.
Can you assess a sludge sample?
Yes. Ask about laboratory characterisation of a representative sample you collect and send. Get sampling and shipping instructions first. SediLogic does not perform or arrange on-site sludge surveys.
