Sedivore Spike
For an established sludge blanket.
Put treatment where the organic sludge has settled. Spike is the dense sinking format for an established blanket under depth.

Depth changes the delivery choice.
When the target is a settled blanket, dispersing product through the upper water column does not put it in the same place. Spike uses a dense solid to carry treatment towards the sludge interface.
Consider Spike for
- Accumulated sludge with a biodegradable organic component.
- An established blanket below the water column.
- A treatment window that allows biological response to be measured.

Start with the treated surface area.
Spike uses the manufacturer’s area-based application method, revision 03/24. A reviewed plan considers the treated acreage and type of organic load before confirming a quantity. Depth helps explain the delivery choice; it is not a substitute for acreage in this method.
Useful details: treated acres, sludge characteristics, water temperature, aeration and the result you need to achieve.

Sedivore Puck.
For a shallower blanket or distribution across a wider bed, compare Sedivore Puck. Its quantity must be reviewed independently; Spike’s method does not transfer to it.
Explore PuckA few practical
questions.
Does Spike treat material in the water column?
Its delivery format is chosen for settled organic sludge. For ongoing organic loading in an adequately mixed water column, compare SediLogic Maintain.
Can I request a specific number of cases?
Yes. Enter the case quantity in your quote request. It will be identified as your chosen quantity, rather than a dose calculated for your lagoon.
Will a lower sludge blanket prove digestion?
Not by itself. Depth can change through settling and compaction as well as digestion. Consider solids measurements, sampling locations and operating conditions together.
Can you assess a sludge sample?
Yes. Ask about laboratory characterisation of a representative sample you collect and send. Get sampling and shipping instructions first. SediLogic does not perform or arrange on-site sludge surveys.
